The Primary Care Nurses of Ontario (PCNO) is an interest group of Family Practice/Primary Care Nurses (RNs and RPNs) across Ontario. PCNO is an Associated Interest Group of the Registered Nurses Association of Ontario (RNAO)*.
Our Mission
To promote and support the professional role of the Registered Nurse in Family Practice
Our objectives are:
- To represent the interest of nurses concerned with family practice;
- To promote the quality of family practice nursing by providing mechanisms for the exchange of knowledge and information;
- To provide up to date information relevant to family practice nursing to improve knowledge base;
- To provide a forum for networking;
- To discuss common concerns in the area of family practice nursing;
- To act as nurse resource for individuals or groups on issues concerning family practice nursing.
